​The story of Helping Hands of Hope Outreach Ministries began with a simple yet powerful prayer. Louise Swindler, while still in school, found herself in a moment of uncertainty—praying near a near-accident, seeking God's help to get through her education. In that moment, she made a heartfelt promise to God: if He saw her through school, she would dedicate herself to helping His people. That promise became the foundation of what would grow into Helping Hands of Hope. 

 

​As Louise progressed through her studies, the need for compassion and outreach in her community became ever clearer. With a heart full of faith, she recognized the many people in need—struggling with hunger, homelessness, and hardship—and felt a deep calling to take action. What began as a small act of faith and promise soon blossomed into an organization dedicated to serving those in need.

Helping Hands of Hope Outreach Ministries was born out of a vision to do the "footwork" of God's love—reaching out, extending hands of hope, and making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families. Over time, the organization has grown, driven by Louise’s commitment to serving others with compassion, integrity, and a spirit of collaboration.

Today, Helping Hands of Hope continues to uplift communities by providing essential resources, spiritual support, and opportunities for growth, all in the name of God's love. What started as one woman's prayer has turned into a movement of hope, transforming lives and inspiring others to serve and give back.
